This is the Privacy and Cookies Policy for (Site). The Site is operated by Hannah Brown, known widely as Hannah Wilde and trading as Hannah Wilde Photography – covering Weddings, newborns, portraits and events across Devon, Cornwall and the wider UK. Registered address: 1 Lower Aish Cottages, Poundsgate, Devon, TQ13 7NY, United Kingdom.

By using the Site and taking part in any photography sessions offered by us, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time by changing it on the Site. This Privacy Policy was last updated on 21st November 2018.

Information we collect:

When you make an enquiry you'll be providing your email address, name, nature of the photography you're requesting, and potentially your telephone number and/or address and venue. All of this information will be stored on my server in order for me to reply to you, but no one will have access to your information apart from myself and I do not sell or pass on your information to third parties. The only exception to this would be if you have enquired for a date that I am unavailable, in which case I may ask suitable photographer acquaintances of mine if they're free instead for your date and pass them your email address and name. This is known as a referral.

For product orders, we need to know your name, email address, delivery address, billing address, payment details, and telephone contact number. This is usually also collected and provided to me via your dedicated online gallery for which you will have to agree to their own privacy policy/terms and conditions before viewing your gallery. Your delivery information and contact number will only be passed on to our Fine Art Supplier if you have chosen something that can’t be ordered via the gallery, or we are sending your order directly to your chosen address, as opposed to you picking it up from our studio.

During newborn/portrait sessions, as part of our contract and our Model release documents, we will ask you for model’s name, contact details, model’s address and model’s date of birth.

For Wedding Photography or Events, you will be asked to sign a contract and provide your contact details, venue details, start and end time, and sometimes also other suppliers to your event so that submissions can be made to magazines for real wedding features and so that online mentions can be made to promote those suppliers. If you don’t wish to provide their information for some reason then you can opt out of this at the time of signing.

Furthermore I will always make you aware that your wedding photos or portrait photos have been submitted to magazines, and if you object to this you are within your rights to veto the submission. If you DO provide permission for these submissions you are welcome to request as many hard copies of the publication as you require for friends and family.

If you communicate with us by mobile or email, we may use the contact details you’ve provided to respond to you, and if you contact us via our Site then your email address is automatically given to us in order for us to send you a timely reply.

If you have taken part in a group photograph, including as part of a wedding, you agree that you do so voluntarily and on the basis that your image may be displayed on Site or any other website and in printed publications, and may be used by us for promotional purposes. Due to the number of people involved in a group photograph, you will not be able to withdraw your consent once the photograph has been taken.

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect additional information about you, such as the type of internet browser you use, any websites from which you have come to the Site and your IP address, which is automatically recognised by our web server.

You cannot be identified from this information and it’s only used to assist us in providing an effective service on the Site.

We may disclose your relevant personal information to assist us in providing the service we offer, processing transactions, fulfilling requests for information, receiving and sending communications, updating marketing lists, providing support service and other tasks from time to time.

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or to prevent fraud or cyber crime, protect the Site or the rights, property or personal safety of any person.

Images taken by Hannah Wilde Photography may be stored for 7 years but cannot be guaranteed to be stored longer than 3 months. Occasionally images may be stored indefinitely if needed to prove copyright or if shot for portfolio purposes, but online galleries will not be viewable indefinitely by clients. The entire unedited shoot, either or portraits or of weddings, is not kept. The images are instead culled personally by Hannah Wilde and then edited, and it is the edited images that are provided to the client.

I do not bombard my clients or anyone who's sent an enquiry with endless promotional material. I may occasionally send an email containing relevant offers if I think you'd appreciate them, but only in response to your enquiries. Should you wish to keep up to date with all my promotions and activities you can follow me on Instagram and Facebook, or sign up to my mailing list, for which your email is again only utilised by me in order to promote my photography business to you.
